	There were numerous attempts of an online Minecraft nation founded by [[~~TheRandomMelon~~]], the earliest of which being a small, democratic city-state named [[Melontown]]. Melontown only contained of TheRandomMelon's friends and his Twitch stream supporters and the activity would be held on his TRM Community server. There were two iterations of Melontown but the overall Melontown project ended on February 7, 2021 due to a lack of activity. Melonia would quickly expand in the following months, going from a city-state to a constitutional republic, which resulted in the name commonly known for the server, the Republic of Melonia.
