General elections were held in Osolia on 15 February 2025. This election was the fifth election to utilize the my.osolia system for registering and voting for candidates.

Candidacy registration opened February 1st, 2025 at midnight UTC and closed when voting opened on Ferbaury 15th, 2025 at midnight UTC. Voting closed on February 17th, 2025 at midnight UTC, and Hydrogen won the election for Chief unopposed and Michael Webb won the election for Speaker unopposed.

Candidacy

Chief

Incumbent Chief Josephine had initially submitted her candidacy, intending to continue into a second term.

On 13 February, former Director of Finance Hydrogen announced his "last-minute candidacy," stating "I want to get Osolia thriving again." His priorities included concluding work on economic reform, debating and passing a new constitution, developing Beryzam, and working to reverse inactivity.

Upon Hydrogen submitting his candidacy, Josephine offered to drop out of the race if Hydrogen would agree to appoint her Director of Events.

Hydrogen agreed, and on February 14, Josephine rescinded her candidacy.

Speaker

One day after candidacy opened, on February 2, 2025, Speaker Michael Webb announced he would be seeking a fourth term as Speaker. He stated in his candidacy announcement that he wants "to keep stability and reason" during an "inactive and kind of uncertain time for our great nation." Michael additionally committed to working on finishing planned economic reforms, regardless of whether he won or lost the election.
