The Engagement Committee is a committee formed by Speaker tz_scion on July 11, 2024. The Engagement Committee is dedicated to finding and proposing policies to make it more appealing to regularly log into the Osolian Minecraft server.

History

Starting a couple of days before the committee's formation, there was much discussion regarding new measures and moves to make the Osolian Minecraft server more active. With this discussion brewing, Speaker tz_scion ran an "activity poll" to gather the thoughts of the citizens. Some suggested a new world, some suggested adding mods to the server, and others suggested scheduled voice chat sessions.

With all of these suggestions floating around and with discussion being unorganized, Speaker Scion decided to form the first committee in Osolia's history; the Engagement Committee. Committees have always been a part of the Osolian constitution, but were not used until the Engagement Committee was formed.

Speaker Scion was appointed as the temporary chair of the committee to begin proceedings. An official chair election was held amongst members on July 11, 2024 to appoint the permanent chair. Speaker Scion won, keeping his seat.
