CalvinX, sometimes referred to as simply Calvin, is the current Director of Infrastructure and Governor of Beryzam, a former Chief, and a former Director of City Planning of the Chiefdom of Osolia. He has been an instrumental member on Osolia since its opening, creating some of the first and most successful businesses, such as Calvin Fried Chicken (CFC), Taco Book and later the CalvinBulkStore.

Calvin is a well-regarded citizen of the Chiefdom who previously served in high-ranking roles in Melonia, even serving as Melonia's last Prime Minister, the 2nd highest office in that nation. However, he remained neutral on most political matters until he accepted Hydrogen and later TriforceComet's nominations for Director of City Planning during the June 2024 election.

After TriforceComet announced he was not running for reelection during the August 2024 election, Calvin decided to run for Chief. After his main opponent, cstro, dropped out, he remained as the lone Chief candidate and won unopposed.

During the October 2024 election, Calvin announced publicly that he would not seek a second term as Chief, stating "I will not be running for Chief this coming term for multiple reasons, but the funniest one is needing an extended break from politics (both virtual and hell that is an American election year)." tz_scion ran in his place and was unopposed, making him the 4th Chief of the Chiefdom of Osolia.

After tz_scion won his term as Chief unopposed on October 16, 2024, he immediately appointed CalvinX as his Director of Infrastructure. He was once again confirmed unanimously on October 17, 2024.

On November 3, 2024, Chief Scion appointed Calvin to become the Governor of Beryzam. In a statement, he said, "Founding a city has been Calvin's desire ever since his chiefship, and he has already put a lot of thought and consideration into the planning of Beryzam." A vote was held, and Calvin was approved unanimously amongst those who voted by the Osolian Assembly on November 4, 2024.

Tenure as Director of City Planning (June 17 - June 29, 2024)

During the June 2024 Osolian general election, TriforceComet defeated incumbent Chief Michael Webb. Therefore, this position would receive a new director: CalvinX. The Assembly unanimously confirmed Calvin to the Director position.

During his term, he pushed for and began the construction of a large-scale nether highway system to facilitate much faster travel between common locations such as Sahosam and far-off areas such as some citizens' bases, as some citizens chose to build thousands of blocks outside of Sahosam in order to have full control over a larger plot of land. This nether highway was about halfway complete before the (legal) abolition of the City Planning department.

Tenure as Director of Infrastructure (June 29, 2024 - August 17, 2024)

Immediately after the creation of the Department of Infrastructure, Director Calvin continued his work on the nether highway system, with help from various other citizens such as Pud and Hydrogen. The nether highway's initial version was completed soon thereafter, connecting most far-out bases of Osolia to each other and to Sahosam.

It has been expanded to add other destinations, such as a portal to TheCelestialJellyfish/Michael Webb's home.

Calvin left the position on August 17, 2024 because he became Chief instead. He appointed Pud to succeed him as Director of Infrastructure.

Tenure as Chief (August 16, 2024 - October 16, 2024)

CalvinX was elected unopposed as Chief of the Chiefdom of Osolia during the August 2024 election, with 8 votes in favor of Calvin and 3 abstentions.

Right after being elected, Calvin appointed Speaker Michael Webb as Director of Finance, Pud as Director of Infrastructure, cstro as Director of Events, and FlynneSkye as Governor of Sahosam. All were elected unopposed by the Assembly on August 17, 2024.

Near the beginning of his term, on August 19, 2024, Calvin participated as a key member of the Intelligence Committee, a committee formed by Speaker Michael Webb to investigate reports of espionage by the now-former Cieurnish Empire, another online nation that was officially allied with Osolia's predecessor, the Republic of Melonia. The committee concluded that they had "found extensive documentation proving Cieurnia’s long term involvement in espionage against the Chiefdom of Osolia," that the spy involved in helping this operation was not a "willing spy", and recommended four actions:

Do not invite IsoKamikaze, Bannerman, Tavatone or Moadroon to the Chiefdom of Osolia under any circumstances. From these logs, these four were the main people involved in the espionage, and cannot be trusted.
Based on our findings from Minerva, Josephine, Gogo, and Alanguiano do not apply to the above recommendation and may be invited to the server. They are former Cieurnish citizens who at points could see Minerva discussions, but according to our knowledge, had little to no involvement regarding these operations, and have generally and consistently condemned Cieurnia’s actions.
The anonymous spy should not be subject to any measure of removal from the Chiefdom of Osolia, and their identity should not be provided publicly.
The Assembly should draft a Constitutional amendment that would allow the Assembly to impose pre-emptive bans from invitation. In this manner, the above four names would be banned from invitation, and could only be overridden with a large supermajority vote by the Assembly. This will ensure that the above recommendations can be properly applied.

All of these recommendations were soon implemented in the Server Security Amendment and subsequent measures.

On August 25, 2024, during the first ever formal Assembly Meeting, Chief Calvin suggested special channels for major Assembly discussions, such as economic reform. This was implemented by Speaker Webb soon after as the #assembly-discussions forum channel, where posts can only be made by the Speaker, and serve as "special channels" of sorts for these discussions.

On September 11, 2024, it was discovered that Postmaster and Director of Events cstro had suddenly left the Chiefdom of Osolia without warning. Once this was realized, Calvin moved quickly to appoint Speaker Webb as the new Postmaster, and a day later, appointed former Chief TriforceComet as the new Director of Events. Director Triforce was appointed unanimously, with 12 votes in favor of his appointment and 0 abstentions.

Calvin pushed for Director of Finance Michael Webb to create an official Business Information Records spreadsheet, which lists every business known to exist in the Chiefdom of Osolia, along with their street address(es), a list of items they sell, and ways to purchase items from that business. This was officially completed and publicly released on September 12, 2024 by Director Webb.

Calvin also became the first Chief since his predecessor, TriforceComet, to utilize the Osolian Public Investment Pool, a pool of money created by the Public Investments Act to spur growth and development throughout Osolia. This was used, mainly with a push from his Director of Infrastructure, Pud, to purchase 660 light blocks by purchasing 64 glowstone from the Inconvenience Store, owned by Governor Flynne and 596 blocks (9 stacks + 20) glowstone from Mineco, owned by tz_scion, for the total price of 1320 DC. This occured on September 24, 2024.
