The First Lady/Gentleman was a former cabinet position in the Chief's Council in the Chiefdom of Osolia, created by former Chief Michael Webb as an honorary position for the Chief's partner.

Abolition

On June 21, 2024, Director of City Planning CalvinX made his case for the abolition of the First Lady/Gentleman position as he believed it was not a necessary position and was mostly just a relic of Chief Webb's reign. After a while of heated debate between multiple Osolians, including Speaker tz_scion, Webb (who held the position at the time) and Hydrogen, Speaker Scion decided to start an Assembly measure to abolish the position.

To the vocal surprise of Speaker Scion and Michael Webb, the measure had a large majority of supporters, with the final vote tally for abolition listed below.
